Sales and Business Development Coordinator (1) Position Available

Salary Classification:  Salaried Exempt

   Reports to:   VP Service & Operations

Position Purpose: 

This position is responsible for selling SLS West service, SLS Lubricant products and SLS automatic lubrication systems across a broad range of customers.  This position is responsible for identifying, prospecting and developing new customers as well as growing existing customers. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver sales presentations for existing contract customers and new customers. 

Develop and execute a business development strategy for the Mountain West area.

Communicate customer needs to supervisor.

Assist in quoting process.

Develop customer relationships focused on increasing fleet and equipment availability and reduced down time.  Identify solutions in customer issues of lubrication systems and/or product, and work to resolve any concerns or objections.

Demonstrate a customer first approach with the ability to build strong relationships of trust.

Desire to work within a team environment to establish and contribute to the growth of the SLS organization and the customer.

Generate business leads to achieve short and long term growth initiatives.

Be customer focused, goal oriented, results driven, and possess a sense of urgency.

Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years prior sales experience of mining equipment or maintenance equipment specifically focused on leading and collaborating all aspects of sales efforts to define solutions, assisting with scope of work and delivering proposals to company decision makers.

Possess and maintain satisfactory driving record.  Travel will be required.

Strong computer skills to prepare sales presentations and generate internal monthly reports.

Ability to react strategically and professionally in customer settings to determine customer needs to develop customer satisfying solutions.
